I love it xx | Review date: 21/07/2009 |
By Colandcal from Cheshire on 21/07/2009 |
| Pros: | Washable, Easy to Set Up, Lightweight, Practical, Durable |
| Best Uses: | Rigid sided carrycots, Toddlers |
| Describe Yourself: | Parent of Two or More Children |
| Bottom Line: | Yes, I would recommend this to a friend |
| | "I used this item on top of my Mamas and Papas Ultimo carrycot. With the cover on my pram the seat fit perfect but in the heat without the cover on my pram the springs could've been stronger making it a tighter fit. I didn't want to go straight to my double pram, as I love newborns to be completely flat and snug in their carrycot. Therefore I found this fantastic new seat (although mum says she had one 30yrs ago) my 18mth old loved being sat up on the pram and I even had my 4yr old on the buggy board attached aswell (3 children on 1 pram, a true travel system). My son felt safe and comfy in the seat and could keep an eye on his new baby brother." |

Useful in early days | Review date: 14/06/2009 |

| Bottom Line: | Yes, I would recommend this to a friend |
| | "This was useful for my toddler when taking my new baby out in the pram for the first few weeks. Though practical in these early days was disappointed that it left me unable to watch my baby sleep - with a toddler there seemed little enough time to admire new baby. After first few weeks, I felt I could not use it because as she wanted to sit up and see what was going on, all she could see was my toddlers back. Description says that it can be used with older children but to be honest my 2 year old only just fitted comfortably and had a habit of slipping down in seat rather than sitting up straight. Bought this in hope that wouldn't need double buggy but looking back, I wish I had just bought a double buggy instead as this is not practical at all for a tired toddler. However, it did fulfill it's purpose for those early days and was not too expensive. Found the fittings a little slack and not as secure as I'd hoped, might have been better with a slightly wider pram than I had but I would…" |

| | "I use this seat on the lie flat pram of my mamas and papas pliko. It fits on top really well and is secure. It has been really handy for my 2 year old to ride on when necessary. The seat could do with more padding and I bought additional reins as I don't feel that the lap belt is safe enough. It has meant that I have been able to use my pram again and I haven't had to buy a double buggy." |

| | "I originally bought a double buggy for my newborn and 13 month but as my older child became an efficient walker he did not want to sit in the pushchair. I have the pram in the advetrised photo so thought I'd try out the seat. Very easy to fit, however, I feel my son is now too big to use it and any younger he would have fallen asleep. When mounting pavements we did find that the seat slipped fowards. Needs stronger fastening. Going to give it another try...." |

Slips forward - no good on my pram | Review date: 15/03/2009 |
By Cat from Edinburgh on 15/03/2009 |
| Describe Yourself: | Parent of Two or More Children |
| Bottom Line: | No, I would not recommend this to a friend |
| | "I bought this in advance of the birth of my second baby, to try out on my pram. Admittedly, I have a combi pram which the instructions say it shouldn't be used with, so that might be the problem. I put the seat onto my pram, but the fixings were surprisingly loose and there was nothing to stop the whole thing sliding towards me (eg if going up a hill) and off the pram. This is partly because the seat needs to be positioned in the middle, and on my pram the hood rises up from the middle, meaning that the seat was far too far forward to begin with. So, it might work for your pram, but it's totally unsuitable for mine and is being returned." |
