"i bought these teats as i started using the comfort milk which is thicker than the regular formula milks. my baby is 2 months old and was taking AGES to finish 3 or 4 oz and the level 1 teats were getting blocked. for this reason i got the vary-flow teats. for a 2 month old the teat was too large even at level 1 of the teat, as he was finishing the feed in 5 min! WAY TOO FAST! i think i will prob use them when my baby is 3m as i have otherwise been happy with avent products"

A big difference from no 2 teatsReview date: 05/06/2011

Pros:Washes Easily, Easy to use
Cons:Flows very quick, Hole is very large

Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

"Having used teats 1 and 2 i thought it was time to move my baby on to the next stage as she wasn't getting the milk quick enough, the previously moved stages were successful but this teats hole is so large that it is a massive contrast to stage 2 and the milk flows too quickly making my baby gag and having to stop feeds every few sucks. Maybe the teat needs 3 smaller holes."

"The usual very high quality from Avent, they may cost a bit more than supermarket own brands, but they really are as good as their price. Made in England, not China. It should be noted that these nipples are supposed to be for thicker liquids, there are three hole nipples available for faster flow."

"i use the product at feeding time and the little girl i look after could not use the 2 3 or 4 teats so i tried these and the are great. there is nothing that i can say that is not good the three flow marks are good for any child not too small and not too big"
