Best all rounder, real workhorse | Review date: 24/05/2010 |
By Kat from Southport on 24/05/2010 |
| Pros: | Comfortable, Smooth Ride, Easy To Manoeuvre |
| Cons: | Rear brake not v strong |
| Best Uses: | Toddlers, Infants, Newborn, Children of diff ages |
| Describe Yourself: | Mum of Four, Parent of Multiples (Twins etc), Parent of Two or More Children |
| | "I have had this pushchair for 4 years. It did brilliantly for my older two (15 months apart) and is still going strong with my twins (7 months old). I don't drive and this pram is an absolute god send. It will go anywhere and do anything you need from nipping in and out of a busy shopping centre to cross country walks (put in anti-puncture gel stuff for this). I don't agree that it won't fit in a meriva since I have had it in a Nissan micra along with another single buggy and one of the main advantages is that you can easily take the wheels off and on if you want to get it into a small car boot. It is not perfect, but no twin pushchair is, and the rear brake is made from plastic and so stretches easily but can be replaced for a relatively small charge (johnson's prams). It is a real workhorse and the inflatable tyres give it a nice, smooth ride even when it is carrying heavy children and a weekly family shop. The shopping basket looks small but from personal experience you can…" |

Our favourite twin buggy | Review date: 30/11/2009 |
By motherofthree from UK on 30/11/2009 |
| Pros: | Comfortable, Easily Stowed, Durable, Easy To Steer |
| Best Uses: | Toddlers, Long Trips, Newborn, Short Trips, Infants |
| Describe Yourself: | Parent of Multiples (Twins etc) |
| | "We had another tandem before the Jane but found that neither of our 12 month old twins could sit comfortably in the bottom seat as he didn't have enough room, so bought the blue version of this buggy. We love it and so the children, they both have good views and enough room, neither are particularly tall boys but our previous buggy couldn't accomodate them anymore. Wished we'd brought this one first. It is bigger and heavier than our previous tandem but that's because it is bigger to give more room. There is a "nack" to going up and down curbs and steps with two 12month olds in it but once mastered it feels quite safe and sturdy. We have the jane buggy board on the back for our daughter of 3 and this works really well, except for curbs!" |

Looks better than it is | Review date: 19/11/2009 |
| By Evie n Zaks mummy from Devon on 19/11/2009 |
| Pros: | Sturdy, Easy To Steer |
| Cons: | Heavy, Unstable |
| Best Uses: | Infants |
| Describe Yourself: | Parent of Two or More Children |
| | "I bought this pushchair for my 22 month old daughter and newborn son. I have had it for 3 months and have found there to be alot of cons.Baby slides around the back seat as it doesnt lie completely flat.My daughters legs are crunched up on the front footplate so I cant put the bumper bar on and she often hangs her feet to the sides which scrapes her shoes. It is really massive when folded and I cant fit it into my dads meriva! It tips when getting on and off the curbs. The rainhood pops off the front footplate and her feet get wet. Head room in the front seat is a real problem and she can push the hood off easily. The basket is tiny and when the raincover is in it nothing else will fit.The clear strips in the hood are a real pain on sunny days and i have to put a blanket over the back hood to stop the sun getting to baby. When the back seat is laid down you cant put a change bag on the handle and the handle is too short for my husband who is 5'9" overal i wish i hadnt bought it." |

Big but easy to steer | Review date: 01/09/2009 |
By Cath from Surrey on 01/09/2009 |
| Pros: | Comfortable, Looks great, Easy to Set Up, Easy To Steer, Sturdy |
| Cons: | Bulky, Heavy |
| Best Uses: | Infants, Newborn, Off road |
| Describe Yourself: | First Time Parent |
| Bottom Line: | Yes, I would recommend this to a friend |
| | "The pram steers well when shopping but is long so can it can be tricky sometimes especially when wanting to take it in a cafe or small shop. Also good off-road. Brake on handle is useful for steep hills. Since having my baby 4 months ago I haven't actually put car seat on the pram despite this being a key reason for choosing the pram. But good to have the option there. Rain cover is easy to fit and spacious so doesn't appear too claustraphobic for the baby Glad I chose a pram that can go from newborn upwards. Friends are now having to buy different seats to go on the frame of their pram now their babies are getting older and bigger. Padded liners in pram and car seat wash well and dry quickly. Downsides - Foot operated brake is stiff to release. Viewing window in top of hood doesn't have a flap to cover it over so when it's very sunny it's necessary to put a blanket over it to stop the sun shining onto the baby." |

'Does what it says on the tin!!!!' | Review date: 02/03/2009 |

| Pros: | Easy To Steer, Durable, Easy to Set Up, Comfortable, Sturdy |
| Cons: | Heavy |

| | "Have had six different pushchairs including four doubles (twins and tandems) as you never find out the bad points of a pushchair until you have lived with them for a while. This is great, although a little heavy for in and out of car boot often, it is well worth the money. It is so easy to fold and unfold, sturdy and perfect for short trips or long trips on any ground and you can fit through any gaps, unlike a lot of twins that insist they will go through 'standard doorways' then don't!! Only thing would say is that the rear seat is very close to front seat and doesn't lie totally flat, but then we haven't found a pushchair that is perfect yet! but this is certainly the closest." |
