Very comfortable rideReview date: 08/07/2008

Pros:Comfortable, Easy to use, Durable, Sturdy
Cons:Heavy, Unstable, Brake clicks
Best Uses:Short Trips, Newborn, Toddlers
Describe Yourself:Parent of Two or More Children
Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

"I find it is nippy round town, easy to get the children in & very snug when it rains. My baby falls asleep as soon as he is put in it and my toddler likes to get in it himself & fasten the harness. Negatives - the rear brake is hard to deactivate especially if wearing sandals as you use the top of your foot, and it makes a clicking noise all the time that others comment on - so does my friends Jane."

"I love it! This is our third attempt at finding the perfect buggy and I think we have finally cracked it. My twins are almost a year old and it is perfect for them, for nipping to toddler groups and longer shopping trips. It manouveres much easier than many twins I have tried and I certainly don't get the buggy rage that I find I get with some of the larger twins. It folds up really easily and is pretty compact for a twin system. I love the flexibilty of seating, I only wish I'd had it sooner. It looks great, feels great to push and my children seem happy in it, what more could a parent ask for"

"Love the Jane powertwin, is exactly what i was looking for for my long walks and also short trips. Use it for a new baby and toddler. Very easy to steer and fits through all shop doors easily. It is a bit tricky to get used to setting it up but after a few times is fine. I have to remove the front wheel to fit it into the car boot, and sometimes the front wheel lever can be tricky to click into place but thats the only issues i have so far."

A stylish buggy but a few niggles.Review date: 22/04/2008

"I have a 2yr old and a 5 month old and find the pushchair seat very small for my eldest - he looks huge in it! Other problem is it sometimes feels like its going to tip onto its side when you are pushing it along a surface which has a tilt to it and you really have to work hard to stop it veering off to the side, which I put down to it having 3 wheels. Great for using around town though, as its easy and lightweight to steer and easy to put up and down. Its also really stylish - I get comments on it all the time. The back seat has a really big hood too which is great for a newborn as it keeps them nice and cocooned! I've always used Jane prams and carseats as I think they are good quality, stylish and safe and this one has not changed my opinion - overall I'm pretty impressed!"

"The buggy is fine and good at what it doas but is really let down by design problems with it's brakes. I foot brake catches all the time and has to be kept off the wheels with a bungy cord. The front disk brake doesn't really work. After adjusting the brakes there seem to be only 2 possibilities, the disk brake catches on the wheels all the time or is too loose so tha brake s don't work."

Perfect but with some nigglesReview date: 04/04/2008
By mum of twins from portsmouth on 04/04/2008
Pros:Easy to steer, Easy to Set Up, Comfortable, Lightweight, Durable, Sturdy, Easily Stowed
Cons:Front foot rest, Brake, Basket storage
Best Uses:Long Trips, Newborn, Toddlers, Infants
Describe Yourself:Parent of Multiples (Twins etc)
Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

"Great buggy with minor faults... Front foot rest/plate too small for toddler and when foot drops this prevent's the wheel from swiveling fully and brake cable comes above foot plate resulting in toddlers foot becoming stuck under cable. Also difficult to put back wheel brake on when child is tilted in the sleep position. And basket storage doesn't hold much other than the raincover on dry-wet day's but altogether a great ride and stroll of a pushchair just a few minor niggles.... Fit's perfect in the boot of my car (Ford Focus) with wheels attached, with space for shopping too. But I have tested out other twin buggies and this is one of the best by far!!!"

A good buggy with consReview date: 17/03/2008

"I have had three double buggies and this is the best one ive own, this being a tandem. This buggy is easy to push even with heavier children in it. It is fairly easy to manove around shops although back wheels stand out further and sometimes disconciving. The cons to this buggy is that the front wheel clip that is used to turn the wheel from lock to swievel is unbelievable difficult to hold onto and turn, this meaning that i have resorted to carrying a pair of pliars around with me to changed it. I have also found that from time to time the buggy has tipped over when on an slightly uneven surface which isnt the greatest of designs as its very heavy to keep control of and the buggy is designed for the more adventurous mum!!! It is also rather big to fit into the boot of a car unless u remove all wheels etc, we have a ford estate and when put in takes up most of the boot"
