Good Prodcut! | Review date: 28/03/2012 |
By Jo from Norfolk on 28/03/2012 |
| Pros: | Durable, Easy to Construct |
| Best Uses: | Toddlers |

| | "A great gate that doesn't have to be drilled into the wall! My only thing that I would say is wrong with it is that when it is just pushed shut and not being used(and not locked in) then it doesn't open easily to walk through it you have to lift the door and swing it open and my little boy has tried to get through it and got stuck." |

| | "Excellent safety gate, purchased to keep my 15 month old twins contained and it works a treat! Very easy to install, instructions easy to follow. Gate is tightened using spanner provided which is great for our home as my two older children who like to mess can't tamper with the pressure fitting. Wide gate opening is fantastic too." |

| | "Easy to install, I did this on my own without the help of hubby. Also used the extend A gate and Y spindle to attach to rounded staircase poles + fit the wide gap. The Y spindles hold securely and the pressure indicator is easy to follow. My toddler has given it a good tug and its held securely. Not the easiest to open but in my eyes this is a good feature, and easy enough once done a few times. The free delivery and 1 hour slot is very convenient." |

| | "I bought two of these gates for my son and daughter-in-law so that they can keep my grandson where they want him - not an easy task as he wants to be everywhere they don't want him to be. The son and daughter-in-law are thrilled with them - the grandson, not quite so!" |

Looks good but need strong hands! | Review date: 14/09/2010 |
By DIY Dad from Glasgow on 14/09/2010 |
| Pros: | Strong Construction |
| Cons: | Hard To Use |
| Best Uses: | Crawlers, Toddlers, Infants |
| Describe Yourself: | Parent of Two or More Children |
| Bottom Line: | No, I would not recommend this to a friend |
| | "Looked a bit thin and flimsy at first glace but seems robust in use, as with all stair gates it is not ideal for stairs with a wider skirting at bottom as you need to wind top screws out a bit more (wish a gate was designed with a wider top section). Very easy to set up but not too secure on wall unless handle is locked down, disappointed that it recommends screw cups over 2 extensions - defeats purpose of 'pressure fit' and should be mentioned (would have bought another gate if I had known this). It was also easy to add extensions and set up, and as it is not auto close, it is better for preventing eager hands forcing open the bottom of gate as it had a nice secure latch. Overall it looks pretty good, seems durable and well finished, but handle is very, very stiff to close and even wife struggles with locking it down - hope it loosens with use. Found our other stair gates a bit easier to open and close with one hand, the Babydan would be tough to use when carrying a child. It may…" |

| | "Easy to install after watching the video guide on Kiddicare and reading the instructions. Gate handle a little stiff to start with but am sure it will get easier with time. Only have to step over a small bar at the bottom so very little chance of tripping. We have used an extension due to a wide opening at the top of our stairs - also easy to put together. Great looking, sturdy gate at a fantastic price." |
