"Needs a sturdy bannister rail"

Review date: 02/04/2014

"I bought this as an occasional use gate for visiting toddlers. It is a nice, sturdy gate, which (as the name implies) relies on pressure to keep it in place. The instructions take a bit of deciphering, being a series of spot-the-difference pictograms to show you what is right (smiley face) and what…"

"Does what it says on the box!"

Review date: 30/09/2013

"We bought two of these gates- one for the kitchen doorway and one for the landing upstairs. It was easy enough to put up, and is very sturdy once in place. My only gripe is that it seems a bit stiff to open, although Im pretty sure that will get better with time."

"Works well and looks good"

Review date: 30/07/2013

"Used it for stairs at home, have two so far. Looks stylish and works well, sturdy and well contructed - wont move despite baby climbing onto it. Secure lock, some of my grown up friends were unable to figure out how to open it! There was a fault with one of the screws which made assembly difficult…"

"Annoyingly this version is shorter than an older version, which we borrowed, and for which we bought an extension (required) so I need to shorten the extension bars to make it fit."

"Perfect, looks smart, easy to assemble"

Review date: 11/06/2013

"I have this stairgate at the top of our stairs. It is very sturdy, I lent my full weight on it and it didnt budge, despite only being pressured to the wall and not screwed in. I definitely think it could take anything my toddle could do to it. It looks nice to in silver, easy to assemble. We used…"

"This is relatively simple to install ."

Review date: 17/04/2013

"Its secure and firm so an excellent top of the stairs type. Although two hands are needed to operate it quickly, this is a good point."

"Best gates weve found"

Review date: 26/02/2013

"We have 3 of these now, their one-handed operation is ideal. Gate works on stairs and doors equally well, great construction, wide opening, not bulky and looks good too. Took seconds to put up. Used extension pack on one of the gates, easy to use too."

"Safe and Sturdy"

Review date: 14/10/2012

"I got this to use on my daughters bedroom door as hubby refused to drill any more holes in the walls! I was worried a pressure fit gate would not be as sturdy but its brilliant and just as safe."

"Good product but the old one was better"

Review date: 16/09/2012

"I purchased one of these gates three years ago when our first son showed an interest in the stairs, which is still going strong. So when our second son got up and about I bought another gate for the bottom of the stairs. Unfortunately the new one has had several design changes and they are all to…"

"Fab fab fab"

Review date: 20/08/2012

"We needed a sturdy stair gate for a wider than average staircase and after a disappointing purchase of another well known brand, that was placed back in its box and this one was ordered in desperation. Weve also bought the side extension seperately and extended one side. Following the kiddycare…"
