Good to extend use of playpen | Review date: 09/05/2012 |
| By Moomin Newbie from Kent on 09/05/2012 |
| Pros: | Lightweight |
| Cons: | Fiddly to install |
| Best Uses: | Toddlers |
| Describe Yourself: | Parent of Two or More Children |
| Bottom Line: | Yes, I would recommend this to a friend |
| | "Ok, so cons - there are only three struts to support the roof canopy and they fit to the top of the playpen by awkward plastic clips that don't always stay closed. The fabric seems quite thin and the elastic stretchy bits at the bottom (just like you find on the floor mat that comes with the playpen) also a bit flimsy so I'm not sure how robust it is with toddler attention. Pros - its bright and colourful, I don't think it will mark very easily and if it does get marked I reckon it will wipe off quite quickly. My 3 year old and my 1 year old squealed with delight when they saw it. Its much safer than my previous make-shift attempts at den building (using clothes pegs to hold a tablecloth over the top) and I can see this being used for a number of years. Makes this good value for money." |

Good execution, nice idea, bit pricey? | Review date: 16/03/2010 |
| By KLT from Worcestershire on 16/03/2010 |
| Pros: | Easy To Install, Strong Construction, Lightweight, Useful |
| Cons: | Needs more windows |
| Best Uses: | Infants, Toddlers |
| Describe Yourself: | Parent of Two or More Children |
| Bottom Line: | Yes, I would recommend this to a friend |
| | "This is a well made little tent and was pretty straightforward to add to the Babyden playpen. I like the robust design and safety feature on the gate. In fact my two sons (1yr and 4yr) both love it and like to crawl in to play. Only negative perhaps is there are no windows in the sides of the tent (only two in the roof), so it would be too dark inside to read a book or something like that. Also it seems quite pricey perhaps for what it is, however I do agree it prolongs the life of the pen possibly for a couple of years even" |

| | "The baby den play tent is great for my eleven month twin grandchildren. They absolutely love it. Its well made and brightly coloured. As it is a such dense fabric, its a little bi dark inside, therefore i have put soft play mirrors, light up soft toys and christmas lights inside which make it totally magical. They love it and we can all get in it to play!" |

| Pros: | Easy To Install |
| Best Uses: | Toddlers |

| | "Bright and easy to erect. My son enjoys me peeking in at him through the windows in the roof. Only downside: doesn't clip around the base so the cover rides up a bit to reveal the bars around the bottom." |

Hours of fun for the whole family | Review date: 27/05/2009 |

| | "Great idea to get further use from your playpen my little boy loves it my only criticism is that it is fairly dark inside with only two small windows on the roof of the tent ideally one either side of the main body of the tent would have been better and unfortunately you can't close your playpen door when using the play tent so it is really suited for when children are of an age where you do not need to keep them securely in the playpen." |

| | "This has extended the life of our playpen that has been outgrown and the girls love it - much better than a pop up tent and room for an adult too (!) Their cousin wants one now - it is a big hit and we will use it outside when it is fine They even want to sleep in it! The fabric was thicker than we expected and it took seconds to put together even though the instructions were not clear. Shame that they did not do a pink version" |
