"Great buggy, suprisingly light, easy assembly and gorgeous colour! however, I have 2 issues! It can be abit of a mission putting into car boot on every trip out as the double seat has to be removed every time. By the time uv unstrapped both children, put them into car seats, taken double seat off, closed the buggy..ul not want to bother going! its a long process-especially if ur out alone! the only other issue I have is the front seat can not be reclined whilst the double is in use.So for long walks, if big baby falls asleep, they would have to sleep in an upright position. My babies are 13 months & 2 months, others with bigger children may not experience these issues! :)"

Alot better than the Obaby tandemReview date: 29/03/2010
By Andy Verified Reviewer from Ulverston, Cumbria on 29/03/2010
Pros:Comfortable, Easy To Manoeuvre, Easily Stowed, Lightweight, Smooth Ride
Best Uses:Newborn, Toddlers, Infants

Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

"We originally bought the oBaby tandem as it was virtualll the same as the phil and teds but over £100 cheaper, what a mistake!! the obaby was awfull to manouvre hard to fold away and very bulky and the wheel fell off and wouldnt go back on, hence we now have teh phil and teds and it was worth every extra penny. Simple to fold away and less bulky, the smooth ride kept the kids from complaining and it didnt head off to one side when pushed (unlike the obaby). Simply put if your after a tandem this is the one to go for, you pay for quality and thats definately what you get."

GREAT BUGGY!Review date: 07/03/2010
By Michelle from Ely on 07/03/2010
Pros:Smooth Ride, Easy to Set Up, Easy To Manoeuvre

Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

"Really pleased with purchase... struggled with previous cumbersome twin side by side and was restricted where I could go... not anymore! Just like pushing a single buggy around with the added bonus of an extra seat! Am still finding my feet however and finding it difficult to open and fold away... doesn't help that I have packed the instructions away and have nothing to refer to. Brake is difficult to operate whilst additional seat in place but not impossible. Overall a very good buggy... simple design... very effective... am so excited about all the new places I can explore now!"

Perfect for double troubleReview date: 02/03/2010

Pros:Smooth Ride, Comfortable, Durable, Easy To Manoeuvre
Cons:Too Heavy, Bulky
Best Uses:Toddlers, Newborn, Infants

Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

"I have every faith that this pushchair will be fab once baby number 2 arrives in 5 weeks as my eldest is only 2. At the moment I'm just too big and useless to learn how to get the pushchair up and down easily, but I'm sure it's ok for most other people. It is really easy to push one handed and the ride seems very smooth."

"I was struggling when out shopping with my double buggy trying to get through doorways etc but I've found this pushchair great, it's so easy to manoeuvre it's like having a single buggy to push and now I can get into lifts easily without having to wait til there's enough room for us all to fit! Both the babies seem to love it, even the one in the lower seat, there's still plenty for them to see. The only downside I can forsee is the bar on the lower seat, as I will always need to use both seats having twins I don't know how long it will be before baby's head will be touching the bar making it uncomfortable. But overall, so glad I bought this pushchair."

Not such a great buyReview date: 28/10/2009
By Debs from Attleborough, Norfolk on 28/10/2009
Pros:Easy To Manoeuvre, Smooth Ride, Lightweight
Cons:No view for second child, Few Features, No safety for newborn, No storage
Best Uses:Toddlers
Describe Yourself:Parent of Two or More Children
Bottom Line:No, I would not recommend this to a friend

"We bought ours when our daughter was six months old and she loved being in the pushchair and bouncing along. People often stopped and commented on the unusual colour and how happy our daughter was in it. We then purhcased the doubles kit when our second daughter arrived 18 months later. Now our first child hates going in it. The second seat is not deep enough for her to sit comfortably in it and our newborn lays awkwardly in the reclined rear seat with no protection as she is too long for the cocoon but cannot sit up. There is also no storage for shopping etc. We purchased the pannier bags to combat this but they hang low and drag on the ground and have a limted capacity. Shopping with two has now become a chore which no one enjoys."

Very good double pramReview date: 09/10/2009
By Surrounded by boys mum Verified Reviewer from London, UK on 09/10/2009
Pros:Comfortable, Easy To Maneuver, Easy to clean, Durable, Smooth Ride, Practical
Cons:Gets dirty easily, Zips break easily
Best Uses:Infants, Newborn, Toddlers
Describe Yourself:Parent of Two or More Children
Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

"I bought this pram when I was 8 months pregnant with my second son. So the pram has been used for a newborn and toddler and now two toddlers (baby almost 18mths now). Throughout all the stages of the children's growth and needs, the pram has been easy to adapt and has been used A LOT. We use it in the parks, on the buses (of various sizes), for walks and practically everywhere. Problems we have are with the zips breaking. They have nearly all broken and we've found ways to repair them. Also, with the apple green colour and lots of outings, the dirt on the pram is easily visible. However, cleaning it is easy. Just need some soapy water and a sponge. Overall the frame and materials are very sturdy, even for two boisterous and active boys."

Brilliant piece of designReview date: 20/05/2009
By Tunbridge from Teesside, UK on 20/05/2009
Pros:Durable, Smooth Ride, Easily Stowed, Easy To Maneuver, Comfortable
Cons:Expensive
Best Uses:Newborn, Infants, Toddlers
Describe Yourself:Parent of Two or More Children
Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

"I've been very impressed with this buggy so far. It isn't cheap but it is well made and is a brilliant piece of design. We bought this buggy due to the arrival of our second child but I wish I'd had it since our first was born. The way it adapts to your needs as your family grows is excellent. I dismissed all the other double buggies as too big and difficault to manouvor, this one avoids both of these problems with it's great packaging and 3 wheel design. It is easy to push and much better for getting around with than our old 'standard' pushchair. If I was to pick faults I would say that the amount of storage space is a bit lacking but the compact dimensions are much more of an advantage, especially when using up and down the high street. The seat is also a bit fiddly to recline, involving the use of zips but this is a minor issue. It is also easy to fold and I'm impressed at how compact it is once folded for a buggy of this type. The wheels can also be very easily removed before you…"
