"We bought this crib online after reading that newborns feel a bit lost in a cot, so this would be a bed for the first 4-5 months. I would not say it takes just 20 minutes to assemble ( as someone states in their review)but nothing too complicated. I was disapointed a bit with the quality of caftsmanship as there were scratches on the panels and the quality in general was just OK. However,it is probably a good reflection on the price - you get what you've paid for. I wish the crib came with a matress and a drape bar (as in the picture). Also in order to stop the crib from swinging you need to fix it with two screws which is not exactly the most comfortable thing to do in the middle of the night. So you can use the crib in either swinging mode or just as a bed.Overall, it's a good product for the money but nothing to get excited about."

"HAD LONG SCUFF AND BIG SCRATCH ON CRIB WHICH I WAS VERY UPSET ABOUT, VERY VERY CHEAP QUALITY, ONLY REASON WHY I CANNOT RETURN IS BECAUSE BABY IS DUE IN NEXT FEW DAYS... I WOULD NOT BUY FROM HERE AS QUALITY IS VERY POOR AND YOU DO NOT GET ANYTHING ELSE, ONCE YOU HAVE BROUGHT EVERYTHING FOR CRIB IT WILL BE BETTER TO SPEND SAME AMOUNT ELSEWHERE"

"We are expecting our first child in January and have been looking for some time at cribs and moses baskets. We opted for the crib as we perceived it to be sturdy and more useful. The Sapling crib is great value, a traditional styled crib that was easy to put together and looks great. The crib comes well packed, with easy to follow instructions and all the tools you need (little spanner and screwdriver). Brilliant, I cannot fault it. It is a good size and I am sure will be of great support for the new arrival."

"Fabulous crib, wish I had not waited till my daughter was 3 months and I had not bothered with a Moses Basket. Very good price too. Pity it got separated from the mattress during transit so we had to wait another day."
